PROGRAMME
Day
1 - CAIRO
Arrive in Cairo Airport. Our representative will
meet and assist you. You will be transferred to your hotel
and meet your tour leader who will brief you about the tour
package. Free evening. Overnight at your hotel.
Day
2 - CAIRO
After breakfast, our friendly guide will accompany
you to the awe-inspiring Great Pyramids of Cheops (Khufu),
Chephren (Khafre) and Mycerinus (Menkaure) and Sphinx in Giza.
The pyramids are part of a huge mortuary temple complex whose
purpose was to keep the Pharaohs alive in the afterlife.
Then, be fascinated by a guided visit of the Egyptian Museum,
which houses more than 10,000 relics of ancient Egypt. There
you can see the famous Tutankhamen Gallery and The Royal Mummies.
At night, you will take the train (seating car) up the Nile
valley to Aswan. Night train heading to Aswan.
Day
3 - ASWAN
Arrive in Aswan. Our representative will meet and
transfer you to your hotel, beginning the day with a morning
tour of the famous High Dam of Aswan. The High Dam was completed
in 1971 and created Lake Nasser. The creation of the dam made
it necessary to relocate several famous monuments.
Next you will visit the romantic Temple of Philae and the
Unfinished Obelisk. The Philae Temple is a majestic Greco-Roman
Egyptian temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, the goddess
of love. Overnight at your hotel.

4 - ASWAN
After Breakfast, enjoy a day free to explore traditional
Egyptian Nubian culture (Option: Abu Simbel & Nubian Dinner
with Nubian show package). Over night at your hotel in Aswan.

5 - ASWAN, FELUCCA
After breakfast start exploring the Nile by boarding
a traditional felucca, the type of Egyptian boat that has
sailed the Nile River for thousands of years, in which you
will spend the next two nights. All of your meals will be
onboard the felucca for today and tomorrow.
Onboard the felucca you will visit Elephantine and Kitchener
islands. Elephantine Island contains the ruins of the ancient
Pharonic city of Aswan. Kitchener Island is a delightful botanical
garden, with plants imported from other parts of Africa, India
and the Far East. Overnight on the felucca.

6 - FELUCCA (KOM-OMBO, EDFU)
Enjoy sailing down the Nile and visit Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples.
Kom Ombo is a Dual Greco-Roman Egyptian Temple dedicated to
the Evil Crocodile god Sobek and the Good Falcon god Haroeris,
which stands overseeing the Nile and had sacred crocodiles
kept as pets. The city of Edfu contains the famous Temple
of Horus. The 2000 year old Temple was dedicated to the Son
of Osiris, Horus the Falcon Headed God, and is the best preserved
and most complete temple in Egypt. In the afternoon we will
continue sailing to Luxor. Overnight on the felucca.

7 - LUXOR
After breakfast, we will arrive in Luxor and tour
the East Bank of Luxor. Here you will experience the massive
Karnak temple and historic Luxor temple. Karnak temple is
actually a gigantic temple complex which is over 3500 years
old and dedicated to the greatly powerful Ram Headed god Amun.
Luxor temple is an important temple in that it was dedicated
to 3 gods; Amun, his wife Mut and his son Khons. Together
these temples and gods are key players into the great Opet
Festival which was held during the flood season. Overnight
at your hotel in Luxor.

8 - LUXOR
After breakfast, tour the West Bank of Luxor. Start
your tour off with the world famous Valley of the Kings where
you can enter some of the incredible tombs of the New Kingdom
Pharoahs, like King Tutankhamun. Then onto the Temple of Hatshepsut
(Deir al-Bahri). This is the mortuary temple of the only Pharonic
Queen of Egypt with very unusual architecture. Finish with
the great Colossi of Memnon, the last remains of Amenophis
III's Temple. Over night at your hotel in Luxor.

9 - LUXOR, CAIRO
After breakfast, enjoy a free day. In the evening you will
be transferred to an air-conditioned train heading back to
Cairo.

10 - CAIRO
Arrive to Cairo, You will be met and transferred
to your hotel in Cairo, and the rest of the day is free for
your leisure. (Optional city tour)

11- CAIRO, DAHAB
After breakfast you will be transferred to the bus
station for your air-conditioned bus heading to Dahab. You
will arrive in Dahab in the evening and and be transfered
to your hotel. Spend the evening relaxing on the shores of
the Red Sea. Over night at your hotel in Dahab.
Day
12 - DAHAB
This is a free day to be spent as you would most
enjoy. Dahab is a relaxing small resort town. In Dahab there
are many options available. Snorkeling, swimming, sun-tanning,
scuba diving and good food and drink. Overnight at your hotel
in Dahab.
Day
13 - DAHAB
This is another day free to be spent as you see fit. With
snorkeling, swimming, sun-tanning, scuba diving and good food
and drink available you will find much to do; or nothing to
do but enjoy the sun. Over night at your hotel in Dahab.
Day
14 - DAHAB
There is so much to do, or just enjoy the sun and lay around.
After your time in Dahab you will really feel refreshed, this
time is yours. Over night at your hotel in Dahab.
Day
15 - DAHAB, MOUNT SINAI
The day is yours, and at night you will have an adventure
of historical significance. At 10:30pm you will be taken to
the base of the celebrated Mount Sinai, a place sacred to
3 religions. This night you will climb the mountain to it's
peak.
Day
16 - MOUNT SINAI, ST. CATHERINE'S MONESTARY,
CAIRO
In the early morning you will see a colourful sunrise over
the mountains of the Sinai Peninsula which you will remember
forever. After a brisk trip down the mountain you will enter
one of the oldest functioning monasteries in the world, Saint
Catherine's Monastery. Inside this monastery is the famed
location of the burning bush which spoke to Moses. Then enter
an air-conditioned bus for the trip back to Cairo. Over night
at your hotel in Cairo.
Day
17 - CAIRO
After breakfast, free day at your leisure to explore the wonders
of Cairo’s streets and shops or (Optional day tour to
Alexandria) overnight at your hotel.
Day
18 - CAIRO AND FLY HOME
After breakfast the trip will end in Cairo where it began.
Transfer to the airport. Take your memories and adventure
with you.

we have received your chosen travel arrangements as well as
your deposit, you will be sent an e-mailed confirmation. Check
this confirmation together with all other documents to ensure
they fully agree with your instructions. Following
confirmation we will send you an invoice of the remaining
balance to be paid either by Cash/Visa/Master Card or Travelers
Cheque upon your arrival in Cairo.
